Chicken Wings Alfredo



It's as amazing as adding roasted garlic and lemon zest tothe commercial Alfredo sauce turns these baked chicken wings into a truly special dish. 

* Ingredients :

° 1 bulb of garlic
° 10 ml (2 tsp.) Olive oil or vegetable oil
° 1 10 oz (285 ml) jar of fresh Alfredo sauce
° 5 ml (1 teaspoon) freshly grated lemon zest
° 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Vegetable oil
° 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) kosher salt (coarse salt)
° 1 ml (1/4 tsp.) Freshly ground pepper
° 3 lbs (1.5 kg) of wings and chicken wing drumsticks

* Steps :

Preheat oven 220 ° C (425 ° F).Baking sheet lined with sturdy aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.

To roast the garlic: Gently peel the peel off the paper-like garlic bulb, leaving just enough to hold the garlic cloves together. Cut 1/4 to 1/2 inch (0.64 to 1.27 cm) from top of the bulb to expose pods. Place the cut end up on a 30 cm (12 p) square piece of foil. Drizzle 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of the oil. Wrap securely in foil. Placing in a pie plate

In 45 L (1 gal) resealable plastic bag, mix 15 ml (1 tbsp) oil, salt, pepper and chicken. Close bag and shaking to coat well.

Placing pie plate with garlic wrapp in foil in oven on lower rack. Putting chicken on baking sheet. Cook un-covered for 31 min and turning chicken.Cook the garlic for about 15 minutes more or until tender when inserted with a toothpick or fork. Cool slightly. Cook chicken 5 to 15 minutes longer or until golden brown and juices run through when cutting meat where it is thickest to the bone ( cook to at least 75 ° C [165 ° F]).

Gently squeeze the garlic out of the cloves and pass half the garlic through a garlic press. Place in a 1.14 L (1 quart) saucepan.Save the rest of the garlic for another use.Mix with lemon zest and Alfredo sauce; heat over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from the heat and set aside.Coat chicken with half sauce. Serving hot with the rest of sauce about dipping.
