TEXAS ROADHOUS'S ROLLS šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

*Ingredients:

°1 cup hot milk
°1 pack or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dried yeast
°1/3 c sugar
°3 1/2 c  four, plus more for board
°1 egg
°1/3 cup melted butter plus 1/4 cup melted butter (optional)
°1 teaspoon of salt
°Honey Cinnamon Butter
°1/2 cup softened butter
°1 teaspoon of cinnamon
°2 tablespoons of honey
 °2 tablespoons powdered sugar

*Instructions:

In a cup or small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar and yeast. Let the yeast rise and begin to activate while you prepare the other ingredients. (Not necessary, but I prefer this to using cold milk straight from the fridge). Using a stand mixer or food processor, combine flour, egg, 1/3 cup melted butter and salt. Add milk mixture and mix until smooth; it will be stickier and wetter than regular bread dough. Placing dough in  grease bowl, turning dough to greased all sides, & covering with  towel.

Let rise until doubled in volume. When the dough has doubled, degas it and turn it over on a floured board.

Let stand 10 minutes. Roll out the dough into a large flat rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cutting to 16 portions with sharp knife & placing on greased baking sheet & let rise again to doubled.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Baking rolls about 10 min on greased baking sheet. They will be light brown when they come out of the oven. If desired, you can brush the tops of the buns with the remaining 1/4 cup melted butter before serving.
Prepare the Honey Cinnamon Butter by mixing the butter, cinnamon, honey and powdered sugar until well blended.

Enjoy !
