*MEXICAN-TORTILLA-CASSEROLE*




Basically lasagna with tortillas standing on the dough, this is one of those dishes that can be miraculouslyon the table in no time, made with things you most likely have in your cupboard and refrigerator. If you don't like an ingredient or don't have it, skip it.
 

*Ingredients :

° 1 pound minced meat
° 1/2 cup diced onions
° 1 pack of taco season mix
° 2 c cheddar cheese
° 1 Beans can be re-fried (easy to spread if you heat them in the microwave)
° 1 cup prepared rice (I used flour rice)
° A can of Mexican corn (drained) using only about half a can
° 4-5 large tortillas
° 8 ounces thick sauce (your choice of light or hot)

* Prepare :

Step 1
Spray an ovenproof dish, pie plate, or saucepan with cooking spray.
Brown beef with onions and straw
Add taco seasoning and cook according to package directions.
Put 1 tortilla in the bottom of an oven dish and spread a third of the beans on top, cover with a third of the meat and sprinkle with cheese.
Second layer of tortillas, half rice, half sauce, half corn and cheese
3rd layer tortilla, 1/3 beans, 1/3 meat, cheese
4 layer cake. Beans, meat, corn, rice, sauce and cheese
Bake on tin foil at 350°C for about 40 minutes without a lid and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. After cooking, sprinkle with sour cream, chopped onions and chopped salad, if desired.
