What You Need:
at room temperature, five big eggs
2/3 cup (or 1 pint) at ambient temperature sour cream
four 8-oz containers smooth, at-room-temp cheese
A stick, or eight tablespoons room-temperature unsalted butter
a half cup of sugar
cornstarch, 2 tablespoons
1 and 1/2 tablespoons of fruit flavoring
1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, squeezed one time
1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest, grated

Butter a 10-inch springform pan on the interior. Crumble and pleat the heavy-duty aluminum foil twice to make it fit the pan, and then wrap it firmly around the outer bottom and sides. Before placing the pan in the bain-marie, this will ensure that no water gets inside. Preheat the oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit and place the baking rack in the middle.
Combine the sour cream and eggs in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
Combine the cream cheese and butter in a medium-sized bowl and beat until fluffy and combined. Blend this up with the egg-sour cream mixture.
After approximately two minutes of beating, add the cornstarch, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, and zest.
